ONGC Recruitment 2024: Roles and Responsibilities During Duty
A. Junior and Associate Consultants in the Production and Drilling disciplines will be posted as competent individuals.
The junior consultant/associate consultant will be in charge of overseeing all work over operations in a round-the-clock (RTC) shift pattern, including:
a. Thorough inspection of the installation and its equipment.
b. Careful oversight of every activity at the installation.
c. The installation, running and maintenance, in safe working order, of all machinery in the mine.
d. Must comply with the Mines Act, Statutory standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Oil Mines Regulations.
e. Regular update of QHSE documentation.
f. Site monitoring and inspection, rig deployment, seamless workover activities carried out in tandem with the Installation Manager and other departments, and pipe tally preparation and completion report etc.
g. Any additional duties required by the DGMS and other statutory agencies.
B. Junior Consultants and Associate Consultants to be posted in Maintenance section (from Mechanical discipline) in Well Services
The Junior Consultant/ Associate Consultant shall be responsible to provide service for repair, upkeep, and revamping of diverse equipment associated with downhole units, work over rigs, and WSS, including:
a. Activities of maintenance and supervision of all type of mechanical, maintenance activities in well services.
b. Monitoring the mechanical store in the well services and preparing and keeping the spare requirement..
c. Maintaining the log books and reports of various maintenance operation in well services.
d. Planning and monitoring the work assigned to external agencies including record keeping and supervision.
e. To enforce requirements of Oil Mines Regulations, Compliance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Statutory guidelines and Mines Act.
