Assam ITI Admission 2024: The Directorate of Employment and Craftsmen Training (DECT), Assam, has issued the official admission announcement for the 2024-2025 academic year. Interested and eligible individuals from Assam can apply online at www.itiassam.nic.in for admission to Assam’s government and private ITIs. Admission is available for NCVT/CoE trades, SCVT trades, SCVT under IMC, and NCVT under IMC (NCVT and SCVT trades operated by IMC in some ITIs) under the Craftsman Training Scheme.

Admission Process

The admission process to various Assam ITIs is divided into the following steps.

Assam ITI Admission 2024: Admission Process

1. After enrolling, all candidates must report to their nearest government ITI with all original documents, certificates, and so on by the designated date and time for verification of their registration details. 2. Candidates should be advised that upon successful verification, they can select their preferred trades and ITIs, allowing them to participate in the allotment process. 3. Candidates who have been assigned seats must accept admission; otherwise, their candidature will be regarded terminated. 4. Candidates who have graduated from NCVT trades will be granted NCVT certificates, while those who have graduated from SCVT trades will receive SCVT credentials.

Assam ITI Admission 2024: Counseling Process

After registration, all candidates must report to their nearest government ITI with all of their original documents, certificates, and so on, on the designated date and time, for verification of their registration details. Next, the candidate must fill out and save his options within the time frame specified by the DE&CT Assam in the counseling schedule.

After the choice filling process is completed, the authorities will examine all filled choices of registered candidates for seat allocation based on the candidate’s merit (rank) and category. They will make an allotment against one seat, which will be strictly provisional.

Note : The Counseling process will be online mode only.

Admission Fee Details

NCVT & SCVT Trades

1. Tuition Fees (Rs.50/- per month): Rs.600/- (for 1 year) | Rs.1200/- (for two years) 2. Caution Money (Refundable): Rs.250/- 3. Registration Fees: Rs.25/- 4. Medical Examination, Fees: Rs. 25/- 5. Trainees Union Fees: For 1 year Rs.175/- & For 2 years Rs.350/- 6. Hostel Service Charge: Rs.50/- (where applicable) 7. Hostel Caution Money (Refundable): Rs.250/ (where applicable)

SCVT under IMC Courses

1. For Non Engineering course: Rs.15,000/- per year. 2. For Engineering course: Rs.16,500/- (for one year) & Rs.33,000/- (for two years).
