The Tea Research Association, Tocklai Tea Research Institute (TTRI), in Jorhat, has announced the hiring of two Senior Researchers and Project Assistants for the ‘Roll Out for Tea Garden Ecosystem Module’ project. The experiment, sponsored by the Ethical Tea Partnership (ETP), will take place at the Climate and GIS Lab of the Tocklai Tea Research Institute, Tea Research Association, in Jorhat.

1. Senior Researcher
No of posts: 01
Monthly Fellowship: Rs. 25000/- + 10% HRA per month.
Essential Qualification: Masters in Sociology/ Master of Social Work / Geography/ Economics/ Environmental Science or relevant discipline with at least 60% marks.
Desirable Qualification:
- Proficiency with computer applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Docs, Spreadsheets, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills (speaking, writing, and reading) in Assamese and English.
- At least one year of research experience following the completion of a master’s degree.
2. Project Assistant
No of posts: 1
Monthly Fellowship: Rs. 18000/- + 10% HRA per month.
Essential Qualification: Graduate in any discipline.
Desirable Qualification:
- Proficiency with computer applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Docs, Spreadsheets, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills in Assamese, English, and Hindi.
- The typing speed in both English and Assamese should be at least 25 words per minute.
